New genre alert
Today, as some of you know, my sister Brittany got into Columbia’s Masters program for psychology without even needing an interview. She’s moving here. I am so happy it isn’t funny.
Two hours later, I got a call about editing a website project—a temp gig that’s entirely up my alley, super-fun, and will allow me to work with really cool people. It pays very well. And tax time is coming—extra good.
All of this, I feel, was simply a lead-up to Gabe Boylan at Capital forwarding me a press release for an event that uses this word:

It is simply not possible for my mood to improve.
